General

Rhodora is an adaptable shrub commonly found in forested and wet areas native to the northeastern United States. The shrub has some ornamental value, with showy pink-purple or white flowers that bloom in the late spring.

Plant Description

Pink-purple or white flowers bloom in late spring. Round, sometimes shiny oblong entire leaves are whorled on the branches. The flowers of Rhododendron canadense differ slightly from the other members of the Rhododendron genus;
