General
A tall-growing, fast-spreading Rush plant that is native worldwide. It is a good pioneer species, and provides cover for wildlife. The extensive root system can help with erosion control protection. Usually grows in thick clumps on shore edges.
Plant Description
Growing up to 2-4' tall. Brown, compound umbel flowers that seem to grow in the middle of the stem (the rest of the "stem" is actually the bract of the flower). Round stem up to 4mm thick.
