General

A perennial wetland plant native to North America. It is characterized by slender, cylindrical stems that grow in dense clumps, reaching heights of up to three feet. Canada rush thrives in various aquatic habitats such as marshes, wet meadows, and along pond edges, contributing to ecosystem stability and providing habitat for aquatic wildlife. A common rush of bogs and hummocks. A good plant to add diversity to a planting plan.
