We’re always growing!
New England Wetland Plants, Inc is committed to providing quality:
- Native shrubs and trees
- Native grasses and flowers
- Native seed mixes
- Soil erosion control products
Our commitment begins with our Northeast native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants grown from seed collected locally by our staff*. By starting our plants from local seed, we ensure that our plants are equipped with the genetic diversity necessary to adapt to the Northeast environment. Our seed mixes are sourced from areas as close to the Northeast as possible, however due to seed availability our seed mixes may occasionally contain seed from areas outside this region.
New England Wetland Plants’ commitment continues via the knowledge and service we bring our customers throughout the planning, installation, and maintenance of a project. Our inventory of Northeast native plants, native seed mixes, and soil erosion control products serves to:
- Preserve the botanical heritage of New England.
- Provide shelter and food for wildlife.
- Protect watersheds.
- Improve water quality.
- Reduce soil erosion.
- Remove toxins in the environment.
- Create beautiful, low-input, low-maintenance landscapes.
Our line of native seed mixes is third-party tested for purity and germination. The label attached to every bag of seed provides detailed information of the contents, guaranteeing a quality seed mix.
New England Wetland Plants’ selection of soil erosion control products includes coir logs, straw wattles, straw/coir blankets and coir mats.
*When available. If no local seed source is available, we purchase from reputable seed companies.
